The Taster Sessions take place on the first Saturday every month from 9.00am to 12.30pm.

Learn the skills and to maintain domestic plumbing and heating in a purpose built environment that allows you to “get to grips” with the practical tasks.

To achieve the NVQ Level 2, you need to have gained the City & Guilds 6129 – 22 Basic Technical Certificate Plumbing Level 2.
As a work based qualification you need to be working as a plumber and demonstrate your ability to carry out a broad range of plumbing skills in the workplace.
Your skills, knowledge and ability will be assessed whilst you are carrying out various jobs at site.
Assessment will be across 5 tasks over a period of 4 – 6 months and Students will need to demonstrate their competence in the following mandated areas: -
The skills that need to be demonstrated are also included in the City & Guilds 6129 – 22 Basic Technical Certificate Plumbing Level 2.
With this and the assessments for the NVQ being added to your portfolio you will be awarded
your NVQ Level 2.

Additionally we provide; Business set-up advice and guidance to include commercial awareness, marketing, career advice and introductions to Plumbing Trade Merchants. After qualifying a 12 months Technical Support service. On successful completion the Course you may begin work as a self employed plumber or by gaining employment with a plumbing company.
