This course will give the opportunity for a real hands on experience where you will discover how lead sheet can be manipulated and formed to a variety of shapes used in roofing applications by using hand tools and cold working techniques.

 

Aims of the course

On completion of the course delegates should know the health and safety procedures for working with lead sheet and be able to form leadwork details by bossing lead sheet to shape.

 

Who should attend?

While there are no special entry requirements this course would be useful for roofing and building contractors who want to become more skilled in the prefabrication and installation of typical lead flashing details.

Safety Boots, overalls or warehouse coat are all you need as the tools, materials, and lead sheet required for the course are included in the price.
